I was 27 at the time and that was 32 years ago. I grieved hard for 2 years. But I've felt ignored as a mother, almost entirely, since. I've never had more children and divorced shortly after her stillbirth (though it was pending long before) and I never married. I never get to share my story with anyone, never get to tell pregnancy woes or delights. I'm just always expected to be supportive, never jealous, never acknowledged as a mother in anyway ... well, except generically, as in all women are mothers because they have mothering instincts, and I'm just supposed to agree or nod or be contented. So ... I keep my feelings to myself ... because they just don't understand.Elainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02436704707411536254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-33962866.post-77950502367490123482013-06-13T20:59:38.332-07:002013-06-13T20:59:38.332-07:00I've recently started a blog on Blogspot as we...I've recently started a blog on Blogspot as well. It chronicles my daughter's life before we also lost her to a stillbirth. Maybe we could follow each other. I'm not sure how to do that, as I just started two days ago.
